Just discovered this remake a few weeks ago. I hadn't listened to Deadlock since the early 2010s but now they've got a renaissance going on in my car, phone, etc. One of my favorite bands of all time. Ain't the same w/o Sabine tho.

Absolutely loving the new album

This single still surprises me every time I listen to it, it is their only song that sounds like Doom Black Metal or something haha. 2015-2018 was a weird era for Hanging Garden. Blackout Whiteout is still such a weird album but I love songs like Embers and Borrowed Eyes and even the stranger ones like Aeode that sounds so much like it would be the soundtrack for that game Life Is Strange😂. I call it their happy album cause none of the others sound anything like it and it sounds more melancholic and uplifting. Then they quickly changed to this, and they didnt stick with it because then started the current era of HG's best sound from Into That Good Night to The Garden. I still love their Inherit The Eden and TEOTWAWKI era, The Blackbirds is still my favorite song from these guys as obscure as it is. The raw emotion in that singer's voice with the sadness in the music is just amazing.

What happened to this beautiful band? Why are there no new albums????
